It's not really good here, been getting pounded by a massive thunder storm since 5am. I was up half the night with a sick dog and Karen has a doctors appointment that is an hours drive away. And it's the first day of school holidays.

School holidays are late in your part of the world, they finished here almost a month ago, its been heaven.

I was already bummed out about Maggie Smith passing and now I just saw that Kris Kristofferson passed away. Of course, both of these people had long, successful lives and left us with a lot to remember them by.

I'm taking @ChristineM 's note and am watching Going Postal - Sir Terry Pratchett is no longer amongst the living either. But I'm amazed that the did as good a job as they appear to have done in the first 20 minutes.
