Many years ago, I think it was on David Letterman's show, he was interviewing Matthew McConaughey, I don't remember what election. DAve asked about how he felt about politics and about the guy that was elected,

McConaughey said, and I do not remember the exact quote, but he first said, why are you asking me, I'm an actor, what do I know, actors aren't rocket scientists..... about the guy that won, I got the impression it was not who he voted for, but he said...whether you voted for him or not, he is now the president, so we should all accept it, support the office and move on.


Note: Likely this post will cause a political broo ha ha with some, because it doesn't support political division
