One thing I do like about the PC is that even though it might break more often than the Mac, there is no problem that you can't fix (as long as it isn't a hardware problem). The BSOD really isn't that scary it is just a bit annoying and is very easy to avoid so I don't understand why it is so often mentioned in this debate.
PC's don't break more often than Macs provided you actually know what you are doing. The increased versatility of PC's comes with the increased chance that you can screw something up if you do not know what you are doing. With Mac's the versatility is much less due to the tight hold Apple has on its software and hardware making the Mac more "idiot proof".

I just saw a Mac quote and thought it was so funny I just have to post it.

"The best way to accelerate a Mac is at 9.8 m/sec/sec."
