The Mind Of Jesus

Here’s what I think Jesus thought. I’m sure Jesus knew who he was. He probably thought to himself if I were an ordinary man I would accept it without quarrel. He probably thought that if he was an ordinary man he would have known it deep down in his soul. At one point he probably even told himself that he was an ordinary man just to see how he felt. I’m sure he felt something was wrong after that though. Part of him probably even longed to know what it was like to be an ordinary man. How it felt to be in an ordinary man’s shoes. For him it wasn’t about being better than anybody. It wasn’t about a messiah complex or anything like that. It was simply accepting who he was. Upon finding out who he was Jesus more than likely had a rough time with it. I wouldn’t say he doubted who he was but he might have had to work through some psychological issues that came along with his revelation. I do think he came to have a firm grasp on who he was and what it exactly meant for humanity. Anyway, this is my take on some of the thoughts and experiences Jesus may have had regarding his own being.

We have no idea what Jesus thought. We're not even sure he existed as depicted in the Bible. All our information about him and his theology comes from the Bible. There are no other contemporary records. Most of the biblical writings are of unknown authorship. There are no first-person accounts of Jesus, and there are many changes and edits in the Christian accounts.

Speculating about Jesus or his views is like speculating about Loki's, Icarus' or Prester John's viewpoints.

Considering the things he has supposedly have said and done, there is a very good chance he had a delusional disorder of some type. Undiagnosed back then.

Or he may have even had a habit of some sort of psychedelic drug.

I don’t think so. If he was an ordinary man he would have known it and welcomed it just as he welcomed his divinity.

@King Phenomenon Looking at your posts 3 and 5, I am inclined to wonder why you have posted this in General Religious Debates? Both of the people that you 'nearly' quote made reasonable points. I think good manners alone should have given them a better response. If you are out of your depth, just say so.

I disagree. I made some good points which they didn’t comment on. All they did was say he probably didn’t even exist and compare him to Loki or say he was possibly delusional.

I thought you believed the world came into existence in about 1980?

I do but I like to equate the true savior that’s living on earth now to Jesus because in my opinion, I think Christian’s truly believe that Jesus is alive on earth but don’t come out and say it.

Wasn't there an effort to round and kill Jesus and all his followers; leave no witnesses. Only John was not killed but placed in exile. What was left of the followers had to escape Jerusalem and go underground and wait until the political climate changed. There were seven Churches. Eventually some of the descendants published the stories that had been kept alive for several hundred years; New Testament.

My belief is the Revelations of John are original. This can be inferred by its different writing style and ambiance. Those who paid to have his life spared and allow him to live in exile, would have taken his journal to the underground after his death. It was placed last in New Testament, since it was felt that his vision had not yet to been fulfilled, since there was still no heaven on earth. Jerusalem had been sieged the temple destroyed but the story never completed.

Consider today, Presidential Candidate Harris is not being questioned about her past, and the Left is trying to distract and help rewrite her history. That is only after a few months. It will take time for the historians to piece it together, in spite of the full court fake news coverup and even witness tampering and intimidation.

To the Pharisees, Jesus was a heretic and a threat to them, so they needed get rid of Jesus and his followers, and erase him from the books. As long as he was on record, he was a martyr and not just a deniable myth and a story. The ran their version of a law-fare scam. Didn't Jesus have felony convictions, for victimless crimes, by a kangaroo court, leading to the death penalty; ancient swamp?

I wouldn’t doubt any of that. I believe he still poses a threat to the church. I think most Christians actually believe Jesus is alive on earth today, but don’t come out and say it. The church doesn’t wanna speak of this truth because they would lose followers imo. It’s ironic because Jesus is the one who preaches the truth in the Bible. It’s like he’s living out the written story in some ways. It’s kind of funny actually.

So, according to you the events mentioned in the bible never actually happened???? If the world only began in 1980?

Right. No event before 1980 actually happened imo. I’m not the kind of man who believes a man rose from the dead 2000 years ago. I’m the kind of man that believes a man from from the dead around 1980. Know what I mean?
