Hi everyone. Not only am I new to this forum, but I'm new to forums in general, this is my first one! I'm as new as new can get. I'm a psychology and religious studies double major, and an enthusiastic Pagan, so I'm hoping I'll fit in somewhere here. Any tips, advise, or greetings? I can't wait to get to interacting with the community here!

Welcome to RF, Lovesong! I hope you enjoy our happy home. Except for that @Debater Slayer guy. I don't see how anyone on earth could enjoy that guy.

My advice is to just plunge in and start posting!

By the way, what sort of classes have you taken in Religious Studies so far?

Hey!

Welcome to RF. :) I think you'll fit in just fine.

The only tip I can think of at first is to be aware that RF has different locations, with different rules that apply.

Most locations are debate locations, but some areas don't allow debating. For example, the DIR locations are reserved for members of the labeled group, except that non-members can ask respectful questions. Debating is not allowed there.

If you have any questions for the staff, you may begin a conversation that only you and the staff can see by creating a thread in Site Feedback. It's located at the very bottom of the Forums page, so you'll have to scroll down to see it.

Sunstone: I don't know how to do that thing where I would add your quote for a direct response so I'll just do this.
I'm a freshman, so very few so far. I've only taken an intro class on Buddhism, a class on ancient texts, and a religion in constitutional law class so far. Looking forward to taking more in the upcoming years though!

That's cool that you've taken so many religion courses in just two semesters.

By the way, look at the bottom right corner of this post. See the "reply" button? If you click on that you will quote my post. It's good form to quote posts that you are replying to.

What? Me worry?
Hey, LS & El C. Be careful of the poured drinks on the refreshment table. I think one of them is Sunstone's spit cup.
