The NFL Begins Tonight!

So, who is excited? Football fans? Who do you root for?

Who do you think will win tonight?

I'm a Bills fan, but I also like Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore and Washington.

Im so happy. Me and a few co-workers have already decided that people who are wearing Patriots gear will be shown the door. Ok, so we can't really do that, but we would if we could. And we would gouge the eyes out of any one who wears a Tom Brady jersey.
GO COLTS!!

How sad for you. You might not wish to watch when Washington plays the Chicago Bears! Knockout

I don't watch NFL much, I prefer college football. But if I had to choose teams, it would be New England, Green Bay and Chicago, and not for any particular reason either. ;)

I HATE YOU!!!!
Ok, not really.
I wanna see the Colts stomp the Patriots in the division title game this year, at New England, in the snow and fog.. Actually, I would probably cry if the division title game was between the Colts and Patriots, at New England, in the snow and fog. I don't wanna see that a third year in a row.

As a Bills fan, I know all about, "How sad for you". I'm a Baltimore native so I pull for them and I think Brian Billick is one of the best coaches in the NFL. Payton Manning won't be able to hear himself think on Sunday. ;)

Only a Unitarian Universalist! It's a bit like saying: if I had to pick my favorite military, it would probably be the North and the South.

Come on now don't be too hard on me! Green Bay has the pretty green and yellow uniforms, my favorite colors and Chicago has bears, I love bears! Now just how do you expect me to choose between the two?

Or rooting for the Cowboys and Redskins  .

I'm a big Cowboy fan since I was a young kid. I guess it started by watching all the re-runs of the comebacks that Roger Staubach orchestrated during the 70's. That's what exited me. Although, the last 7 years haven't been too exciting for Cowboy fans. Hopefully this year will be different.

When I was growing up Sunday consisted of church, Sunday dinner at my Grandparents house, then watching football, usually Dallas with my aunts and uncles. I still have a Cowboys sweatshirt my aunt bought me when I was a baby. My daughter has clothed one of her teddy bears with it. Anyway, I remember being a Pittsburg fan for a while just to upset my aunt. It wasn't very mature of me, but I was only 6 or 7 at the time.

I fear it will. They are clearly one of the teams that could surprise this year.

As for my poor Chicago Bears, I seriously doubt that they'll win more than 6 or seven games. It's been a long dry spell - even for a city that hosts the Cubs.

For a while it was a tradition to watch my Bills lose the Superbowl. Last year they won six of their last seven games (would have been seven if they hadn't blown it at the end) and this year looks to be an exciting season. I look for the Bills to upset the Jets. However, Realistically, I think the five teams to watch are:

1. Atlanta
2. Carolina
3. Indianapolis (evil colts!)
4. Denver
5. Cincinnati (Marvin Lewis is a defensive genius)

My prediction for the Superbowl: Either Carolina or Atlanta vs. Indianapolis, with Atlanta's or Carolina's defense shutting the colts down. So either Falcons or Panthers win the superbowl (not sure which yet, I'll need two weeks to decide). My week two superbowl picks have been right the last five years, so hopefully I can keep up my predictive accuracy.

i gotta give it up to my Eagles...i think they got a good chance to going to the Super Bowl again this year

Andy Reid has been building a top notch team since he took over in '99 and things look promising this year:)
