the optimist's song

Oh it's a good day, for singing this song
and it's a good day, for moving along
Yes it's a good day, how could anything go wrong?
It's a good day from morning till night

Yes it's a good day for paying for shining your shoes
and it's a good day, for loosing the blues
anything to gain and nothing to loose
cause it's a good day from morning till night (you're right!)

I said to the sun, good morning sun
Rise and shine today
You know you got to get going if you're gonna make a showin
And you know you'll got that right away

Cause it's a good day, for paying your bills
And it's a good day, for killing your ills
So take a deep breath throw away all your pills
Cause it's a good day from morning till night

Die Optimism! Die!

Quite the dramatic one you are, I dunno I'm getting up at ~4:30 a.m. after I finish off this second fifth of Rich and Rare to catch some crappie, caught nine yesterday. Great on the grill with garden fresh tomato and cucumber salad with fresh made herbed yogurt sauce. Don't send me any pics of piranhas, it is said they taste like crappie too

Seeing the word "crappie" reminds me of Alex Trebek's pronunciation of the word in one the Jeopardy questions. He pronounced the "a" as in "apt" rather than "o" as in crop.

Just sayin'.     Carry on. (Oh yes, next to walleye pike it's the best tasting lake fish)
