The Orthodox Side of Bosnia!

The
ORTHODOX
side of
BOSNIA

As Most of us on RF have already had a good taste of both the Islamic and Catholic cultures in BiH, I would like to open up a thread that centers around the Orthodox Christians of Bosnia. On this thread, I would like for us to discuss everything from recent politics, to the traditional customs of the Bosnian Serbs. Hopefully this thread will give people some knowledge of Bosnia's second largest ethnic group, as well as the country as a whole!

Travnik, Bosnia

Very nice idea for a thread, Yugo. :)

I wasn't aware Travnik still had an Orthodox Church - that's really impressive, given the post-war atmosphere in that city.

I think you should start by explaining to everyone why Orthodox Christian men in Bosnia hit on girls by saying, "Yo baby, was' yo slava?". :D

Hahahaha, I'm actually working on Banja Luka, and the Serb Republic right now.. But I'm not as fast as you when it comes to forums so w.e lol.

Feel free to post pictures of Ferhadija and all the other Mosques that were destroyed in the Serb Republic, as well as political issues conserning the Serbs in BIH... :)

Thanks for the offer, it really means a lot to me - but no, no. We'll keep the thread positive, yes?
