The People’s Guide to Project 2025

This is a really great site for digging into the details of Trump/MAGA Project 2025 agenda.

It is a series of nested links on specific topics that give you the page number in the Project 2025 manifesto.

I wonder to what extent I can trust a source
that is livid with loathing of the agenda.
But independently, I loathe it too.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Well, it is basially a Heritage Foundation document, I believe.

"The Heritage Foundation and the 100+ organizations that make up the Project 2025 Advisory Board have mapped out exactly how they will achieve their extreme ends. They aim to try and carry out many of the most troubling proposals through an anti-democratic president and political loyalists installed in the executive branch, without waiting for congressional action. And, while many of these plans are unlawful, winning in court is not guaranteed given that the same far-right movement that is behind Project 2025 has shaped our current court system."

Interesting times ahead, that's for sure.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
It's a crooked corporate agenda by the Koch brothers (Heritage Foundation).
Yep. So crooked those gawd awful Heritage Foundation people. So now what's the other sides adgenda for prosperity and happiness for all?

I had thought it might've been the World Economic Forum's "Great Reset", but that seems to have quieted down as of late (or maybe I just stopped paying attention).

Actually - never mind - the WEF's site covering that has since been dismantled, it seems:

Mr. Trump in a public statement said,
“I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it,” he said. “I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”

Well, disregarding his history of untruths, if you look quickly as I did at the names listed in this manifesto, two prominent ones that weigh the honesty scale on that statement to false are: Peter Navarro of Trump's previous staff, and Dr. Ben Carson, Sr., also of Trump's previous administration and who, last I heard, is on the longlist of Trump’s VP candidates for 24. I'm sure Trump is well aware of Project 2025. If it concerns his endeavors, he knows.

That's a lie. Either the first sentence is, or the third. Either that he doesn't know what it is or that he disagrees with it - or both.
"I don't know X" is his way of distancing himself from an unpopular agenda or unpopular people.

That's mighty thin gruel to make your meal on. To refute his public statement you offer speculations and spin.

The simple truth is Mr. Trump has publicly disavowed Project 2025. Which implies that if he ever implemented it he would be called on it. You're just mad because you have lost a wedge issue you wanted to use against him.

Actually, according to the quote you've given us, he has partially disavowed Project 2025 (without clarifying which parts). So he could technically implement any subset of the points in the agenda without having lied - not that he would care about that.

So you concede that he has at least partially disavowed it. Since he claims he doesn't know it, then he could hardly disavow all of it if it contains a mix of both good and bad. What would you require to satisfy that he has completely disavowed it then? And is that necessary? Is 100% of Project 2025 evil?
