The trials against Trump in NY are political. Nobody; big business, is allowed to build anything in NY, unless you get the approval of the NY Democrat syndicate; grease the machine. Why are these things being brought to court, now, when many go back years or decades and could have been investigated, while it was fresh? Disney in Florida, for example, got a sweet heart deal to move to Florida decades ago and not DeSantis tried to alter the arrangement. This is common but worse in some states.
Back then it was called a pay-off, but now it is called political payback. The Governor knows what they are doing to Trump is essentially making the the Democrat syndicate in NY look like will renege from their sweet heart/pay-off deals. That publicity cold drive out and inhibit new business from moving in. All states offer sweet heart deals, for business to come in. Now that NY syndicate will bring you to court for taking their deal that was shady from the beginning. Why pay the crooks in NY, to move to NY, if they will renege. Paying to get in is one thing, but rgetting screw later is not worth the risk.
This political payback is about several things including election tampering for the DNC. The key cause was Trump, while in office, lowered the federal income tax write-for property taxes Property taxes are very high in NY. The tax payers in lower priced states; usually Republican states, get less federal taxes back for property ownership and are essentially supplementing the over priced Democrat run states. It was tax payer injustice. Trump prefers justice.
As an example, say you have two similar houses; 4br Colonial, and one house costs twice as much in NY as compared to Georgia, and homeowners pay double the property taxes. By the old law the homeowner in NY will get more federal taxes back, all else equal for then same thing. The efficient states supplemented the wasteful, corrupt and incompetent states. Trump thought that that was not fair. This change to federal tax law impacted the rich Democrats of NY, who could no longer steal extra tax payer money, since fairness to all states, via a smaller maximum deduction, was not in their best interest. After that the pressure was on Trump and he started to divest himself from NY, and move his assets to Florida.
I remember the later Rush Limbaugh who at one time centered his radio empire to NYC, to reach the widest audience. He started to complain about the higher taxes in the Socialist Republic of NY, as he would call it. He decided to move his operation headquarters to Florida but still make weekly trips to NYC. NY sued him and tried to tie him up in court, trying to force him to continue to pay NY state taxes, even if he no longer resided.
California was playing the same shake down scam, at the time, as many people were trying to flee that overpriced state for lower tax states. If you have an injustice system installed; syndicate, this shake down will use; steal, tax payers resources to tie you up in court. When Trump was President, his officer and access made it harder to run the shakedown scam against him. Now that is was out of office, they are trying to shake him down, but Trump cannot allow it or risk his brand and livelihood.
Now the Governor is making it harder for the syndicate, since this shakedown scam is back firing. There is too much flight and fewer companies wanting to move in. They do not trust the words of the con artists in charge, citing Trump as an example. Now they have to get out of this, to save face and stop business from fleeing. This is being done with judges overrides.
The Federal Government has install its own version of this injustice system syndicate in Washington; swamp. Biden recently made a deal with China that will benefit China more than the USA; green energy is dominated by China, with China having triple the emissions and does not comply. The Biden made $millions off China, via an energy company and now China is tightening the screws, since they have the evidence that the Republicans need. Biden is in the vice; rock and a hard place.
