personally affected.
Yup. Convenient how he left that one out when discussing everything else that needs to go. That issue the MAGAs can leave alone despite MAGAs probably making most Americans who actually still object to that.

Jungle fever is still safe for white supremacists.

The only thing I whine over is government overreach because its dangerous to freedom. I could care less what you think about it otherwise.
I believe protecting the environment is one of the fundamental duties of the government, and regulating commerce in order to do so is one of the proper roles of the government. Why? Because the environment is part of the commons and government is charged with the protection of the commons.

How many governments tell businesses what they can and cannot do with perfectly legal products? Last I heard, plastic bottles are not illegal to possess and distribute.
But plastic is known to be a serious polluting problem.
So expect more and more regulation concerning its use.

We see this everywhere.
In Belgium for example, supermarkets today also are prohibited to distributed free plastic bags at the register like they used to. Now, they sell reusable bags and customers are motivated to bring bags with them to put their groceries in.

Suppliers of cookies etc have also received regulations concerning their packaging, as in how much % of the packaging can be plastic.
Same for delivery services like amazon-like webshops.

This is a good thing and not some kind of "communist plot".

Because it's fine if hotels want to use refillable containers. It's also fine if they don't want to use them and use disposables instead.
Well, no, that's not fine.

Just like it's not fine for car companies to insist on producing dirty diesel engines.
Just like it's not fine for roofing companies to insist on still use asbestos in roofing.
Just like it's not fine for producers of spray cans to still use CFK gasses.
Just like it's not fine for plumbers to still use lead pipes.

And as usual the left wing doesn't realize (or maybe they do) that they are losing their freedoms everyday, little by little , as subtile Government takeover and encroachment becomes The Epiphany of the Frog being slowly boiled to death in water without ever realizing it. All in the name of Safety and Security.
So you advocate anarchy?
