Today I start seeing a new endocrinologist. Sucks the one I was seeing in town isn't in network anymore, and instead of driving about 15 miles to get to my appointment I have to drive 70 miles now. One way.

Our new plow truck has arrived!
We had to special order it because of some unusual features.
(Dealers don't stock trucks like this.)
- Standard cab (Everyone wants extended or crew cabs these days.)
- Aluminum wheels, including spare
- Manual 4WD shift & hub lockout (Electric shift is unreliable.)

And our poly plow.....

It will become #1 son's daily driver (replacing his car).

Anyone want to buy a crew cab diesel F350 with a plow?
Only 300,000 miles on it!

The real reason for getting it early is to end the interminable tedious discussions
with #1 son about replacing our old plow truck, which has many problems.....
- Diesel engine
- Too long (crew cab, you know)
- Diesel engine
- Electric 4WD shift
- Pneumatic hub lockout
- Stinky diesel engine
- Only 8'2" wide plow

Son is happy.
No discussions of old v new trucks.

So, it seems your real problem is that your old truck has 3 Diesel engines, one of which smells bad.

Well, that would depend on what you are using it for.....

But I will concede that for snowplowing.... in a pickup truck..... it would not be my first choice

That would be a terrible plow truck....especially for parking lots clogged with cars & trucks.

And when you run low on fuel, try finding a pump nearby
which isn't clogged with soccer moms in the way.

You have to understand, although I so not support clear cutting of forests, But I do support clear plowing of roads, parking lots and driveways.
