I'm officially one of those professional wankers with two cell phones now. It's an Android, which is awesome because someone told they thought they were giving us iPhones. But, it being a Galaxy S4 Mini, it's stuck on Kit Kat.
My laptop is even worse. I thought mine was on its last leg. But these "really good laptops" (the IT guy's words), mine didn't want to log off until I worked my magic to make it log off and shut down, and it's Windows 7, which is a pretty big "seriously? WTF?" I'll probably run dxdiag tomorrow to see what this computer really offers and just how "good" it really is.
But I have a fancy job, fancy clothes, a phone that at least doesn't have a shattered screen like my personal phone, and severely outdated computer.

And logging onto my computer, it was such an amazing feeling logging on, and seeing my name, BGS. I feel like I'm really moving up in the world.
Cold expected here...had a few minutes of snow/rain a couple of days ago...but it's clear and cold, with a light breeze...
Its actually pretty cool in the mornings here. We have begun to wear jackets.

I walk my mother-in-law's dog almost every day. We don't know exactly how old she is because she was a rescue from Humane Society last fall. But I am pretty sure she wasn't weaned the last time there was snow on the ground here. I don't think she's ever experienced snow before.
Walking her this afternoon should be interesting. She is an exuberant little darling, and she loves her walks. Romping in the tall grass, snuffling in fallen leaves, digging after mice, investigating fallen limbs, all of it. This first snowfall of the year we got this morning should be extra fun.
