I should know better, but I'm still sometimes amazed at the things people believe.

And yes, I'm talk'n 'bout you!

I wasn't talking about you!
For a bear, you're almost reasonable.

I know you were not talking about me.....:D

but for the record...I too and sometimes amazed at what people take as factual.... based on questionable or non-existent sources

There are some things so universally true that no one should dispute them. Or if you do, you prove they are universally true.

I recently read about how girls with autism act differently than boys - something I had never known of before.
Yes. I found that interesting when I was learning more about it. One thing I found particularly curious was apparently with Asperger's, girls are more likely to be interested in the fantasy genre.

The white-collar concept that I learned about today--this specific one being for non-profits--is 401(b). After a year of service, the company I work for will even put the equivalent of 5% of my pay into it. I don't know if that's a good/competitive rate or not, but free money is free money.
I also did some math, I'll make at least $20/hour for overtime pay, and I'll get five hours of it this week! :D I also get paid this Friday, so yay!

Today I also got a TB test, my first round of a Hep B vaccine, and I got my flu shot, the later allowing me to wear jeans to work on Friday!
According to the nurse lady who went over all the blood born pathogens and vaccines and other stuff like that during orientation today, men between the age of 20 and 35 are notoriously reluctant and stubborn when it comes to getting flu vaccine. Those big sissies! :p

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is on TV as I type.... I'm going to try.... but I am not certain I can actually make it through the entire movie..... 15 minutes in and I am starting to get nauseous
