Going on vacation soon....made a mistake though.... I let Mrs Wu make the plans for this
So, I have 4 hour drive this evening to go to a hotel so we can make a flight at an airport...4 hours away...at 7:00am...it was a bargain your know...on an airline I hate, and once we get there it looks like I will be spending the week driving great distances to get to things. Then on the return, after spending a week being a chauffer/pack mule/work horse I get to get to the airport for our return flight at 5:00 am..... it was a bargain don't you know.
Last time this happened was out failed trip to Europe, that got cancelled due to terrorist activity. She had me lugging luggage from hotel to train to hotel to train to hotel to train for what pretty much amounted to a night in a country.... of which we would have seen most of it by train and walking to the hotel from the train station....no time to actually site see.... another bargain.
When it came time to reschedule that, I took over, said "Norway" and that was the only country....and after much arguing.....we went.... .all had a great time...only two hotels, no driving, train and walking only and a rather large boat too. We all had a great time...very relaxing..... but apparently to relaxing because we are right back to the overbook, over travelled over worked "vacation"......not actually a vacation for me as much as it is a week of being a stressed out chauffer/work horse/pack mule....... next vacation... I am back arguing to get it less stressful...easier travel....but sadly (from her POV) not as much of a bargain...which when you really look at it and charge hours to it...it is no bargain at all.....

Once watched a rather tall human walk down the center of the aisle.... not paying attention to where he was going...he was looking at the floor..... he took the exit sign right off the ceiling with his head

Yeah...that didn't end well.... I usually have to go in disguise...otherwise they do not let m on the plane
It's going too fast.
My husband (he still is) just says we are not going. He doesn't like it.
