"Kilometer" (a unit of distance) should be pronounced "Kill' oh meter".
Why?
Because a "micrometer" is a measuring instrument, & is pronounced "My crah' met err".
But a "My' crow meter" is a unit of distance.
Now, my brain feels airy-like.
Kilometer is pronounced click.
As a former draft dodger, it would be pretentious of me to use a military term.
And I'm backwards....it's "6 tenths of a mile".
I thought that I shouldn't drink coffee as it stains my teeth (which teeth are not naturally white anyway), but, being home today and it is cold, I'm going to brew some.
I don't remember if I said I quit the dating site. I quit it. I feel SO much better now!

My brother had me watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 last night. I planned on leaving early into the movie and not watching it, but it actually managed to catch my attention and I ended up watching the whole movie and liking it. I especially liked Rocket, and watching him killing a bunch of people in those woods, and using the energy mine thingies to bounce one group in the air, then group two in the air, and group one back up as soon as they hit the ground and the same with group two. I also liked one of the scenes with Yondu's arrow, with the guy sitting at a table on a chair, raising his beer mug only to have it shot by the arrow, it reminded me very strongly of the video for the Korn song Freak on a Leash. I also liked some of the subtle Star Trek and Star Wars thingies in it.
Five-eighths of a mile is closer.
But three-fifths of a mile in ten seconds is more musical.
Holding down a real professional job.....enjoying big budget mainstream movies...paying taxes....complaining about work.
What next?
Buying a Prius?
I think in tenths for distance.
I think in eighths for carpentry.

Nah, as I haven't started drinking Starbucks. And I lack the "unfulfilled ambitions job" that many got themselves stuck in just to fit in and drive a Prius. I might get something from this company, however, although this ad doesn't feature the newly redesigned Industrial model.
