Its an engineer thing isn't it...... because I noticed my oldest is now wearing pink shorts...never did that before declaring his engineering major......I now see a future where he is an PhD engineer... and yes he said he is going to pursue that.... and he comes home for a visit...and he is wearing...Hawaiian shirts, pink shorts, & sox with sandals......well...at least that DAMN man bun might be gone....right...he won't be wearing a Hawaiian shirts, pink shorts, & sox with sandals with the man bun..right

He currently has one...I'm hoping the rest of the Engineer's uniform (Hawaiian shirts, pink shorts, & sox with sandals) takes care of it..... I noticed in the sun the other day, while pulling the roots...his hair...that use to be black....is a dark blue and the man bun...is blonde and black...sheesh...hat thing has got to go.....rassin frassin engineering school

A reason that I never worked in designing mass produced products like cars
is that I wouldn't be able to design things as I saw fit. Cars need to be cheap,
which mean that bean counters rule. I like things which allow me to ignore cost,
design for maximum durability, maintainability, & reliability.
And it should look fetching in a timeless way...nothing merely fashion de jour.

Bean counters ignore that for there to be a good "bottom line", there has to be a good "top line" where value counts. That was illustrated in a science-fiction short story which gave me the expression "top line".

Thanks. I'm fine. There's very little chance of a tornado within the city. The storm is passing over, anyway.

It was funny because my cat was just bothering me to be fed. I said "we could all be swept away and all you'll care about is wanting to be fed". Lol. That's exactly how she is.

I really miss the Colbert Report. Back when Colbert's show was funny, often featuring guests who were activists, politicians, authors, scientists, and other note worthy people, and without all the Hollywood glitz and glam. And also because that's when he warned of us of the dangers of how dangerous bears really are.
And we have to give credit were credit is due, because Colbert was using "truthiness" long before anyone was screaming "fake news."
