Get an e-mail asking to upgrade a current PC for a software they want to run...that will not run on the PCs they want to use.
You explain this to them......they make another request.....you have to explain this to them again.....they make another request.....and then you have to explain this to them again....weeks go by...you hear nothing.....you are specing out a PC that they can use...that will cost them thousands,,,,,you think they finally got the message...and then...they send another e-mail "demanding" the upgrade and CC all sorts of big shots...and they add to that additional software that they claim is a shared license....
Respond with....the application that you want to run will not run on ANY of our PCs...nor will it work with any of our current monitors...and the shared licenses you claim to have, does not exist because that company does not do shared licenses....Sadly for them, my very first IT cert was in the software they want to use and as for the additional software I was the administrator for here in the office, and still in control of it as it applies to our users
Carbs ain't got anything on olives
Really guys...I have the impression people forget I think and speak in another language...
