In something completely unrelated, I've thought about quitting my retail job and taking up a waitering job. I'm sure I'd make more in tips and would actually enjoy it more.

Plus it would be something to do until I find a job more related to my degree.

Eye balls. Though the ball part in English pretty much only used to refer to an eye that is outside of a body, such as an eyeball in a jar. Other than that just using eye works.

Actually it is called a "bulbus oculi".:D

Well, I though the Aspergers and GID thing was interesting. It's hard to tell the numbers now since the DSM-V lumped Autism into one "Autistic Spectrum Disorder," but the transcommunity has either 4 or 8 times the rate of people diagnosed with ASD than the general population (one number is ASD as a whole, and then there are attempts to break it down to just Aspergers, which is why the numbers are abit tricky to figure out).
But as I read these articles I couldn't help but notice the dummy-aspect of academia coming out, as I read silly words and phrases such as "they seem" or "they appear to be," and other silly things that makes you wonder why they didn't just ask someone with Aspergers and/or GID these questions instead of making it seem like they speculated everything. There is also apparently a hypothesis that I read was "intriguing" in their world, and that is that a cross-gender identity may develop in those with Aspergers as a response over the difficulties in finding and maintaining conventional sexual relationships. And while it is pretty hard to get sex partners when you're not good at socializing, that nifty hypothesis of theirs fails to consider that very frequently those with GID had discomfort and distress over their biological sex long before puberty and sexual feelings developed.
I also learned Dan Aykroyd has Aspergers, and it was a part of what lead to the creation of Ghost Busters.

Today I got really hasty while writing something because I had to finish it quickly. Big mistake. My carpal tunnel injury got significantly irritated, and I suspect the nerve itself got irritated because I believe nothing else could hurt this (almost unbearably) badly.

I think I may visit a doctor and ask for pain-relief shots if this doesn't calm down soon, and by "soon" I mean in the next few days at most.

If you can get the surgery for it, you're much better off doing that as the shots are only temporary. When I had mine done, I had far less pain and far fewer restrictions than I thought I would.

What restrictions (if any) do you have now as a result of having the surgery, if you don't mind my asking?

I think I'm going to have another night of tossing and turning.
Sleep is just such a hard thing to do sometimes.
