I'm having a horrible (expletive) day...... you know....I am going to take a break from all things web forum for awhile.....just blew up at someone for being an idiot on another page...when usually I'd just taunt them with truth and written laws and make them look stupid.....might even get me banned from that page
I'm pretty sure I've seen worse that resorted in a post being deleted but no banning involved.

How I feel, and to be honest, I’m OK with this....like an old friend returning

Note: Cool, Disturbed has a version....it is just the video is more disturbing....rather apropos actually...based on the name of the band...also rather anime

My brother likes Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence.
It's the only major disagreement with covers between us.
But their cover of Land of Confusion is probably the closest to the original any cover has ever come (that I've heard anyways). It's not the same song, because it is a cover, but it's pretty close so I never gotten how some people can be so repulsed over it because it's basically the same. And certainly free of the screams and monkey sounds from The Sickness (one of the first "real devil music" I got into after my fall from grace).
Then my brother let me borrow a Megadeth CD, and I was hooked because they sounded kind of like Metallica, but better in many ways. And I fell in love with their cover of No More Mr. Nice Guy.

but that just leads me to "oh please, oh please, don't throw me in the briar patch"

Happens to me regularly, there are so many idiots around. And i am not banned (yet).

I am in 2 minds what to do if i do get a ban. Whether to suck it up and return suitably chastised (as one contact i know has done) or pull the plug and find another socket (as another contact has done)

Although i completely agree that RF rules are a good thing there are times when you just have so say "don't be stupid you ****ing idiot"

And it can be fun. Like how because of the rules earlier this year I discovered the best thing Trump could have done for America (though he's since done the second best thing), and it's unspeakable. And just think of all the heinous stuff he's done that are mentionable. This deed is unspeakably unmentionable. :smilingimp:

Having a bad day, i feel nervous and edgy. As some of you know i act as a sort of unofficial telephone counsellor to my brother in law. He is currently very ill and because of health service cutbacks and defunding the nearest professional help is 18 months away. Arrggggggg. I could scream

I haven't been able to confirm this myself. But I've heard of people getting a Chromebook with an x86 processor like a Core i3 for example and transferring it over to Ubuntu for use.

That'll do. Ta

As they say its the thought that counts. Story to follow in soon

Many years ago when i was merely a tadpole, i acquired my first job.

Being outspoken even then i told my supervisor he was stupid.

Very upset, he took me so the managers office and laid his complaint. "No matter what you think Christine you must not call your supervisor stupid"

"Even if i think he is stupid?" I asked

"Even if you think it, and i expect you to apologise " the manager replied.

"Ok" was my response "im sorry for calling you stupid " i said to the supervisor who by this time had a big cheesy grin on his face. "But i still think you are stupid"

I lost that job for some reason

Reading compiler documentation is both draining and enlightening...very slowly enlightening. Why can't there just be an easy tutorial for things? Or an injection. I'd be willing to take a knowledge vaccine.

I'm not feeling well so I'm looking working at home stuff again, including freelance editing. And I am quickly reminded how my first effort into that, along with every other effort into more conventional self-employment has fallen flat:
I'm terrible at advertising and getting my name out there to get any clients or customers.

For some reason I didn't lose my job where I was prone to being verbally abusive towards my boss. Rather I did quite well in that company to the contrary of the expected results of calling one's boss a "****ing *****" and telling them to "**** off."

I learned from the experience, when i became a boss, staff could call me whatever they needed so long as the work was up to scratch and on time?

I feel for you, learning Maya and 3Dsmax literally takes years. And every week or so someone produces a new add on that makes hair follicles more realistic or toe nails with built in fungus...

If it were easy, there'd be no overwhelming feeling of accomplishment when you mastered it. People who make things hard are doing you a favor.
