I bought some nagaimo at the Farmer's market today and am not reading up on it to decide how to prepare it.

It tasted reasonably good but I did have to soak it in vinegar water because of a skin irritation that a web site warned me about.

I'm smiling because #4 is very similar to something Robin Williams said in the movie "Awakenings": "If you were right, I'd agree with you". I always had the feeling it was not originally in the script. And on #10, you're supposed to say "911" or "999"

In a past career I used something incredibly similar to #2

We're buying a couple of used potter's wheels this week from a guy who's consolidating his studio. One is an old electric Amaco, and the other is a treadle wheel.

Eventually, one reaches a stage where life is a vacation. The unlightened ones don't postpone that til retirement.

Anyone who finds that deep is an idiot.

I can't wait for my student loan money to hit. I need about $100 of it to get some stuff to fix my car, including a passenger side rear-view mirror, windshield wipers, oil and oil filter, and windshield wiper motor.
And I need a laptop that will actually connect to the internet and stay connected (preferable with an intact keyboard and monitor, which my other laptop lacks). And I need more piercings. I also need to get the moving to another country process rolling, and need to get things like a passport.
