The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Move up here and your lawn can be brown.
I know this is sounding very old and geezerly..... but I miss Christmas of the old days.....
You know what? Most Christmases weren't great or terrible. I only remember snippets of Christmases, which tells me that only snippets stood out. I recently found a tape my dad made to send to my grandparents and I didn't even remember making it till I played it! (it was made at Christmas time.) I was a very mediocre piano player, I'll say that much.

LOL I do one room at a time basically.
I do 'projects'... my house is basically a tapestry of religious shrines and cultural artwork.

And there's no TV in the living room. One very small one is in the 'library'(which is traditionally a dining room). That seems to throw people off.

Yeah, I remember when the Commercialism didn't begin until after Thanksgiving. And I remember damn near everyone being closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. But we can't be having that, not when there's money to make and fleshy cogs called human rescources to exploit to get it.

I don't know what was open yesterday or today (Black Friday) because I don't go anywhere other than to people's houses.

Does the Religious Forums at religiousforums.com count as social media?

Yes, the Religious Forums at religiousforums.com can be considered a form of social media. Social media is generally defined as an online platform that allows users to interact, share content, and communicate with others within a community.

ReligiousForums.com, like other online forums, provides a space for users to discuss topics, share ideas, and engage with others in a community setting, which aligns with the core characteristics of social media. The key features that qualify it as social media include:

User Interaction: Members can create posts, respond to others, and engage in discussions, which is a fundamental aspect of social media.

Content Sharing: Users can share their views, experiences, and opinions, contributing to the content on the platform.

Community Building: Like other social media platforms, ReligiousForums.com fosters communities based on shared interests—in this case, religious discussions.

While it may not have the same features as mainstream social media platforms (such as Facebook or Instagram, which focus on broader social networking and multimedia sharing), it still functions as a space for communication and connection among users, which classifies it as social media in a broader sense.
