The flat one would be my guess :)
Apparently the idiot light was idiotic. The tire I thought was low was not really all that low and no nails were spotted or harmed. If the idiot light comes back on, then they'll need to put the car up on a lift and look closer.

This is symptomatic of having too fancy a car.
I check tire pressure by unscrewing the valve cap, & using a pressure gage.

To my tech-head, the car is not fancy enough. The light should be replaced by sensors which tell me what the pressure is in each tire.

I think when the tires are low, they should inflate themselves.

edit: Now I will stop procrastinating, and go and do something productive.

You may just have some dirt building up. And if your tires are not low, that is probably what's going on. It's a fairly normal thing that shouldn't be ignored when it happens (because your tire may actually be low), but it's no real biggy. Not unless you have some annoying alarms going off.

I"d like that instrumentation, too...but then, it's just more electronic stuff that can and will go wrong as some point, and keep the car from running because it's programmed to be afraid to run if something MIGHT be wrong...

Well...why do you think they are called idiot lights...hmmmm

Such things exist.
But not for this cheapskate.

I believe it was an option on a Humvee and it might be an option on some of the higher end Mercedes Benz SUVs

It depends on whether or not the pressure is being sensed directly or indirectly. From what I just saw the Toyota is a direct system so dirt should not be an issue. The last time the light went on, I had a nail in the tire.

The cooking is never the problem.
I wasn't thinking of cooking as being a "problem" in this case..."ornery" isn't a problem...it's obvious that the diet and exercise changes in addition to the progression of the season of late have finally started to bring on his "spring" personality and activity.

I'm thinking more of his membership in the pa tai tai club.
To summarize, we cast a wary eye, & exercise discipline to ensure marital bliss.
