So my sister gets home last night, *****ing about her husband having used something (an overdose of some nervous system depressant), and when I first saw him my first words were "HOLY **** DUD! If my sister wouldn't have told me anything I would have said you need to get the hospital immediately!" His skin was literally stone grey, and his pupils very dilated.
Needless to say, it's another extremely stressful day.

How I yearn for silence. It makes me wish I had some long-legged rubber boots so I can go sit in the woods. Right now, though warm enough, is definitely good conditions for loosing shoes. If I slip trying to go around the bad spots (especially where the horses have really stomped some serious mudholes), I'll easily be past my ankles in mud. The worst slip I had the mud sucked me in down to my thighs.

A post like that requires pix of your thighs slathered up in mud.
@Wirey will back me up on this claim.

I regret to report that my invisible plane has crashed due to a fault in the auto pilot system. Authorities cannot confirm due to wreckage not being found. Mysteriously, neither can @Wirey . ;)

On the look out for an invisible helicopter, though I seem to have some difficulty in finding one. Appreciate any leads.

I had an interesting day. Ended up cutting a strut off of my nephews car, and having such a hard time that what should have been a simple and easy job turned into four and I didn't even get one strut changed because my nephew had to go to work.
Then I went with a friend to a bar (that was actually really mellow and laid back and not even smokey) in support of a guy from a somewhat known local band (and recently broken up) going on his own. It was, however, a rap show. And because this is MidWest America, there were no black people there. This guy was weird though, because he rapped a part of his songs and then death metal scream the other parts. Not too bad as the last band did weird stuff like that, but it definitely wasn't a good atmosphere for him. I actually didn't even know, however, that this rap scene existed here. And because the music scene here is so pathetically small, I saw several familiar faces that I see at the rock/metal shows.
The entire show though, there was one guy there who was alright, but when I do listen to rap, it's not that kind of rap.

$(%(#($ resellers. I'm doing IT volunteer work and have been pricing tape libraries. One reseller gave me a bunch of quotes with various options and I was about to recommend them when something niggled at me so I carefully read through two quotes. One had maintenance listed as HW and the other as HW,SW without them pointing that out to me. I also had to dig for a while and if my research is correct, hardware only maintenance does not even include the rights to download patches so if we hit a bug, we're screwed thirty ways from Thursday. I'm ready to ask @Wu Wei to round up a bunch of his friends and go pay the reseller a visit accompanied by a bunch of my canis lupus friends.

One car down, two more to go.
Well, I guess half of the one car down. I'm gonna be replacing the wheel bearings, rotors, break pads, and studs on it soon.

If we can throw in some current software vendors, I'm all for it.

We have one wanting to charge us $15,000 for a key.... not the software...but it does include patches...if needed......but mostly just for a key......additional support is not included.... that would be an additional $10,000.....we already have the software.... we just need to renew......and all we need is a damn key.....not even that concerned about the patches...if needed

The heck with it....we're on our way

I feel much better tonight after watching the Mythbusters blow stuff up. It was a cathartic show. This was not from that show, but just imagine everything that annoys you and watch this
