It sucks to not be able to see up close or far away without glasses or contacts. It used to be that I just couldn't see far away. What a rip off.
As one gets older, I think eagle eye, x-ray vision should be the norm.
If I take off my glasses I can't read my computer monitor, but a book or tablet, I actually take my glasses off on purpose for. But, my eyes have always been like that. My eyesight doesn't really change. At least it hasn't over the past 15 years really. Might change as I get older though. I got a couple pairs of glasses in 2001 and had them until just a few years ago. I want to say about 2011 or 2012 is when I got these glasses I'm wearing now. When I had my eye exam to get the new glasses (more because I had the same styles of frames for years and wanted something new) the optometrist compared my "new" prescription to my old glasses and said my prescription hadn't really changed at all noticeably. Like, one little click on my right eye I think, or left, can't remember which. I still have the old glasses for back up purposes and one I use as sunglasses with clip-ons and there really isn't any discernible difference. And I still see fine with these about 4 or 5 years in. Eventually I'm sure my eyesight will decline, but it's hanging in there for now.It sucks to not be able to see up close or far away without glasses or contacts. That's a long time to not have a change in vision up or down.If I take off my glasses I can't read my computer monitor, but a book or tablet, I actually take my glasses off on purpose for. Well it's true.I'm not a Marxist, but I found a quote of his I very much like: Reason has always existed, but not always in a reasonable form.
I'm eating burek. I'm happy.
Who is Burek?
Burek is a Balkan pastry. It's basically a coil of filo pastry with either cheese or meat in it. I've got cheese burek.
Surely this burek must taste better.A corn dog. Got it.
Let's all have a moment of silence for all the ladies at work today.I'm getting drunk for free on St Paddy's Day! Yay work!
This might surprise everyone, but I find our court system to be worse than rolling dice.
At least with dice, you needn't spend a fortune on lawyers to get a random result.
Far darker thoughts course thru me noggin.Next time...try dueling....
