I need to get over this writers block I'm stuck with. I have an awesome story to tell, even a few potential publishers picked out, but yet the words are not coming to my fingers.

I hope it isn't claw rot.

Nope, its not...those are sharp as ever...wanna check

Fingers crossed

Thank you, turns out I'm ok, it is just a rather pesky and annoying muscle pull..... moral of the story is (and I knew this before I started) never use WebMD to diagnose anything. I think their standard answer, for everything is, dig a hole, and jump in, that is the only option you have left.

Yeah, definitely don't use WebMD. I was using that (and other sources) when I started having IBS, and things like pancreatic cancer kept coming up. That's definitely not good to read when you have anxiety problems and a medical condition the doctors haven't got a diagnosis for yet. And it's especially not good when your job at the time is driving, and you are left with hours and hours every day to anxiously obsess over these symptoms.
I've found it's best to use things like WebMD after you already know what you have and are wanting to educate yourself about it.
Good to hear it's nothing major, or at least seriously threatening (I know pulled muscles can be a major pain), especially with your heart burn and other stuff you've been mentioning.

Write down what you like/hate about music. Take three minutes. Then go write your story.

No site is going for diagnosing anything. WebMD like all the other ones lists what you might have. To know what you really do have is another matter.

There was one and only one exception to that for me. I woke up dizzy one day and went to a web site, found Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (or BPPV) as the most likely problem, found a web site that showed me how to clear it up and that worked.

I need the Captain. He tends to pretty good at melting the blocks and putting words in my fingers. I may have to get through a jumble of occasionally unintelligible ramblings and things that make me wonder what I was thinking, but it works.
Or I need to see/experience something that makes me go "that would be great for my story."

I have decided that if anyone tries to start a political propaganda discussion with me, I'm going to start quoting Chuang Tzu.

But what if they use Zhuangzi AS polirtical propaganda like

Great wisdom is generous; petty wisdom is contentious. Great speech is impassioned, small speech cantankerous....and relate their candidate of choice to Great wisdom and great choice and the candidate they scorn as petty wisdom and cantankerous

Done with my part of the taxes. It was easier this year because I understood how to deal with medical expenses. Next year will be a bear, sorry @Wu Wei because my stroke generated reams of charges all smushed together which is not what Turbotax likes to ingest.
