The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

My son certainly has his own line of thinking. He didn't appear to think he had to get ready and go to school this morning. His line of thinking? There's a field trip today, there will be lots of walking, he doesn't like walking, so he isn't going to go, and since his whole class will be on the trip there is no reason for him to go to school. Nope, sorry kiddo, you're going to school, you're going on the field trip, you are walking. Suck it up buttercup. Seems to think his legs will fall off. Well, at least then he'd have an excuse not to walk.

and you too should feel a deep sense of shame and failure....because you just lost and I won...sad when an, alleged, higher mammal loses to a cute little fuzzy woodland creature such as myself as often as you do.... and yes I know this is not that thread..... I'm just sayin'

My new toy, Canon Pixma MX922 printer, is now doing a setup dance. The old, dead HP printer is sitting sadly on the floor waiting for a trip to the printer mortuary.

My stereo died again. All I had to do last time was use an air duster to blast the dust build up out, but now it's time to get technical with it.

The dentist said that my teeth symptom is most likely grinding my teeth at night. Given what's been going on, that's very possible.

I was carrying my school bag the other day and stopped a cab, and just as I told the driver the name of the area I wanted to go to, he said, "Where is your high school?"

Like... seriously... this is at least the third time someone has mistaken me for either a middle- or high-school student... o_O

Enjoy it. It seems like just yesterday since someone called me a young girl, and that hasn't happened in awhile.:(

Hey. Give him some credit. Those are his lunch bag and thermos and he didn't say he was carrying them. He said his school bag which is quite obviously this:

It's so grown up it has weapons on it. Why he'd be mistaken for younger who knows?
If I would have had that as a kid, it probably would've become a permanent part of me as it would never have left my back and my skin may have assumed that bag was also a part of me.
