Some of us, they arrived to take us away and then ran away upon realizing their own sanity was in jeopardy.
I had a friend in a psych ward invite me to join them... bring the family, let the professionals handle them, and take a break.
I laughed pretty hard at the silliness... and then I cried. Because I could really use that break.

Go back about 40 years to my biker days, I had a friend who was a psychology major (he is a clinical psychologist today) and we were in his apartment and he started asking me questions about everything I was saying..... I realized he was psychoanalyzing me...... there were a lot of people there and we were on opposite sides of the room, and I said.."Keep up the analysis and you will soon be asking me why I felt it necessary to get up, walk across the room, and punch you in the head"....the analysis stopped and we all went back to doing something much less productive...drinking
That would have ticked me off, too.

So, those boneheads are up in Fresno, eh? I remember when they came to Tucson to protest the funeral of the little girl who was killed in the shooting which targeted Gabrielle Giffords. A bunch of people put up this large sheet or board to prevent them from being seen by those attending the funeral. Definitely an odd and malicious bunch.

My MidWest upbringing has me wanting to make metaphors to things I probably shouldn't here. But, no, they were decisively overwhelmed, rebuked and driven out. It was made clear they aren't welcome in Fresno.
But they're still somewhere out there. They're gonna be a small town Thursday morning. Hopefully it'll be a repeat of yesterday, though they may call for reinforcements because in Fresno they were a small tribe who was met by a horde.
