I have no idea how Muslims fast for a whole month, honestly, it's been only a few days and I'm feeling horrible.

It's not the hunger that's the hardest, it's the actual eating. I can't get enough calories. My stomach won't take in as much food, I feel full easily, for some reason.

I used to fast on Good Friday. I stopped doing it because I have diabetes. It was hard but after it was over, I felt rather good- like I flushed all the toxins out of my body. I don't know how people do it for a whole month- they certainly have more discipline than I have.

I got to see Alice Cooper two nights ago! It was such an awesome concert. He still has snakes, swords, heads, stage theatrics, and he even still does the guillotine. And after his head was chopped off (and while the executioner was walking around on stage with Alice's head in his hand, the TOOL song Vicarious was going through me head), the band finished an instrumental and he was wheeled out on a chair, and something about Alice bringing the dead back to life was mentioned, and there were four tombstones on stage with the names of Jim Morrison, Keith Moon, John Lennon, and Jimi Hendrix, and the first few opening bass notes of Break on Through send the energy through the roof, and it got even higher with the opening lick of Revolution, and bit higher yet with Foxy Lady and stayed as high during My Generation. And they closed with School's Out, and while keeping the same music for School's Out they worked in the "We don't need no education" part from Another Brick in the Wall pt. 2.
Out of all the concerts I have been to (70 or 80 some), I think that was the best one I have been to. It's also been awhile since I have been one of the younger people at a concert, not since I was going to see Steve Miller, Bob Seger, Kansas, and other classic rock bands with my parents.

I watched a small hawk-like bird problem solve to get at a nest underneath an eave on the apartment across from mine so that it could eat the baby bird within.

Well played, jerk bird, well played.

I bent a blade on me new mower!
I bent a blade on a mower once, when I first moved to where I am living now and the ground was extremely uneven. I was going along, being shaken and tossed around by the ups and downs, and then suddenly a down was too down and the next up was too up, the blade sliced into the mound of dirt, bending the blade and slamming my stomach into the steering wheel.

Today I dreamed I was a monkey playing futbol (real football, not the north american version :p)

I was doing the goal keeper and barely making it! :cover:

My parents crack me up. I guess my dad started to get after my mom for not cleaning out her car and always expecting him to take care of the cleaning the car for her. He tried to make the point that it's her car, she drives it, she should clean it. She looked at him and very calmly and quietly said..."I don't wear your clothes." :p Dad dropped it.

I really hate being on-call.

I was called at 9:30 Friday night, then again at 12:30 am.
Was called in at 3:00 yesterday afternoon, and worked until after 9.
Then I was called again 2:30, 7:00, and 9:00 this morning. :areyoucra

Being able to sleep on the weekends would be nice.
