All this talk of food reminds me. I have to call Empire Kosher and yell at them about the chicken I bought.
It took 3 @#$#%#%^ hours to roast a 4 &^*(*&^ lb chicken!!!!! You'd think I was roasting an 11 lb turkey!!

Are you sure your oven is working properly? I had a similar experience, and found out that my gas burner was only 1/2 lit.

I'm sure my oven is working properly. I have no problem with baking cakes or baking chicken pieces or steak or fish or anything else, and this is with my following the directions.
It is either the directions on the bird's bag were wrong or there was something wrong with the bird.
