Hello all,
A few years ago I created an account on this site under my old QuakeWorld screen name 'Spyvie'. I logged in a few times and made 7 posts under that former life persona. I soon realized that I had a lot more to learn before I should have anything to say.
Fastforward to now, and once again I endeavor to interact with the good people of this forum. The problem is, that old screen name is no longer in service, as I and my worldview have changed considerably. I can no longer stomach the name nor its associated email address.
Last night I briefly chatted with a forum moderator, asking if a name change was possible. I was told yes, as long as I made the request public in a forum post. Makes sense.
The thing is, I need to use a different email as well. A whole new enchilada. I suppose the easiest thing for me to do would have been to just create a new account not saying anything about the past, but I value honesty and transparency, even when it really only matters to me.
So, with much ado about nothing, here I am... TooRiel.
I have read the forum rules regarding multiple accounts, and I understand them. My only defence is that I'm not attempting to fool anyone.
If this is OK with managment, I will not use that old login again.
