The Right Path

Ardhanariswar

I'm back!
u kno by trying out many things, asking yourself, whats right for you, and/or asking God.

in terms of the basic paths, its the middle one. buddha's life is proof. true spiritual realizations does not lie in corporal mortification and starvation, or lavishing in richness. its in the middle.

I stay open and trust my instincts. If I feel very turned off I know I am headed in the wrong direction. When I feel a bit fearful, but happy, I know I am probably headed in the right direction.

It has been explained to me that everyone is on the CORRECT path that they should be on and tomorrow if anything should happen you will still be on the CORRECT path. Paths can intersect but no two paths are the same and nobody can suggest a path that you do not want to follow.

The Bible talks about the path being narrow. I have thought that is because we all have our own distinct path and no one else will walk that narrow path.

I have thought about that scripture as well for this passage. It seems were both very perceptive.

There is K(NO)W better place to start than the beginning.

Lightkeeper, this makes a lot of sense. I believe we all have our own path because people interprut even the same messages differently.

I think we humans are like snowflakes. No two snowflakes are exactly alike, but all snowflakes are basically snowflakes. And in the same way, no two of us are exactly alike, but we are nevertheless all essentially human. So it makes sense to me that our paths cannot be exactly alike, since we are not exactly alike. And yet, because of the similarity between us, we are capable of learning from each other. Does that make any sense? Or should I have drank more coffee before attempting to explain my thoughts about this?

The right spiritual path means developing love of God.

We can only reach God if God wants it, we can not bumb into heaven and say here I'm if you like it or not.
Ofcours God wants us to come back therfore He has revealed differend scriptures and send He his bonefide representatives to tell us which path to follow.
If you follow this scriptures and his bonefide representatives your sure that you are on the spiritual path.
It doesn't mattter which scripture you follow the main point is that you develop love of God.

This is based on the Bhagavad-Gita, as she is by Srila Prabhupada

what if you dont follow scripture, yet you follow the path made between you and God? hmm.

Thats ok but that path most be made by God.
My point is we can not reach God by our self made process.
If we want to be with God we have to develop an attitute of servertorship who unconditionely want to serve God in full love.
We have to figure out what this real love means. Most of the people think I'm such a nice person I love my wife and children, my dog, I,m a good citensen I pay taxes I deserve to go to heaven.
But this is not really love of God These thinks are meanly for our own pleasure not for Gods pleasure.
To find out what God really wants of us we have to look into scripture.

Ofcours when someone is sincerely searching for God God will help to find Him.
the Bhagavad-Gita states

"To show them specail mercy, I , who dwells in their hart, remove with shining light of knowledge the darkness caused by ignorance"(B.G. 10.11)

Actually it is our desire to TRULY K(NOW) GOD. GOD exists with or without or belief.

Premarnava writes: Thats ok but that path most be made by God.

I think it is “we” who choose or own individual paths. This is called Free Will. If GOD chose our paths they would not be our own existences but GOD’s.

Premarnava writes: If we want to be with God we have to develop an attitute of servertorship who unconditionely want to serve God in full love.

What would an omnipotent BEing like GOD need with servants? Why would an omnipotent BEing like GOD need at all?

Premarnava writes: But this is not really love of God These thinks are meanly for our own pleasure not for Gods pleasure.
Again what does GOD need with our LOVE. Is GOD insecure? Is GOD lonely?

Premarnava writes: To find out what God really wants of us we have to look into scripture.

Common Misconceptions About GOD or How To Identify The TRUE GOD.

  • GOD does not ask humans to do anything that GOD cannot DO him/herself.
  • There is no will that GOD expects from us.
