We have seen many Protestant denominations claiming that the Catholic CHurch is the Anti-CHrist Church. But can they really prove it in Scripture?

Frankly, I was not even aware of that......so I voted "It is God's Church".defense of truth said:We have seen many Protestant denominations claiming that the Catholic CHurch is the Anti-CHrist Church. But can they really prove it in Scripture?
I agree with MaizeMaize said:I don't like any of your poll choices. To me it's just another religion.
No qualms here. But obviously I would add to it.Terrywoodenpic said:I agree with Maize
A very important religion with many truths but not the only Christian religion.
I can't say I have personally heard such a claim, but I can say that I do not agree with it. I would not say that the RCC is abominable, but I do not agree with everything that they do. Catholics and I share many of the same doctrinal and theological beliefs, so I can't say they are abominable.defense of truth said:We have seen many Protestant denominations claiming that the Catholic CHurch is the Anti-CHrist Church. I agree Jonny. Although things are still unresolved and perhaps further clarity should be discussed on both our sides. Perhaps later we can resurrect it. Not up to it at the moment.jonny said:Didn't you already start a debate on this once? If you want people to keep fighting over it you could always go and resurrect that thread.
I personally find the entire subject pointless. The people who believe in the Catholic church probably believe it is the church of God. The people who don't belong to the Catholic church probably don't care one way or the other because they believe that the church they belong to is the church of God.
Me either.Victor said:I agree Jonny. Although things are still unresolved and perhaps further clarity should be discussed on both our sides. Perhaps later we can resurrect it. Not up to it at the moment.

Although I disagree, you have indeed stated your opinion within the boundaries of the thread.Searcher of Light said:The closest to the poll options I could get is by stating the catholic church deviated from the original church by adding contradictory laws to what Jesus and the apostles have outlined in their texts.
I cannot call any religions an abomination; that is for God and God alone to decide.
Agreed!Maize said:I don't like any of your poll choices. To me it's just another religion.
I agree. God wants us to tell people about him. You don't need a church to accomplish that.cardero said:GOD doesn't need a church.
