The Son of man.
Who is the Son of man?
It is quite easy to understand who the Son of man is.
If God calls his word or his spoken words His son or the Son of God as we all know then it is quite obvious that the word of man or his spoken words are called the Son of man.
Jesus never referred to himself as the Son of man; he always spoke about the coming of the Son of man.
The Son of man will receive all powers in heaven and in earth, he has the power to heal, to forgive sin and therefore Jesus said; forgive each other. The Son of man has the power to do miracles, but this could not manifest simply because we never knew who the son of man was. Now you know.

The problem is we are mixing things up.
If we look at Jesus for instance; he was the Son of God and not the Son of man who still will come soon. Jesus brought us the spoken words of God = the Son of God.
Therefore if Jesus forgave sins he forgave it by way of the word of God. However one can also say; Jesus is not the Son of God, his words are.
The multitudes said after Jesus forgave sins; they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
This is then clear from this scripture; the powers were given to men/humans, you, and me, that is if we know who the Son of man is.
The reason why we can’t do healing is because we don’t understand whom Jesus the human is and who the Son of man is.

Jesus is the son of God.

So are you.

You are the son of Man that your life is of flesh.

You become a son of God by your pledge.

Have you recited the Lord's Prayer?...with heart felt earnest?
Our Father? your Father? sons of God are we?
Brothers are we?

Sound familiar? Shades of John 8? That is Ezekiel 20:2. Now, get off my buddy Jesus. Guy had a hard day yesterday. ;)

Around a century before Jesus was born the Book of Enoch was circulating in that part of the world and first mentioned the Son of Man (binadham). They say the angels rebelled because they were jealous of this friend of their Lord of Spirits who was only a man but given power over them.
