What does that even mean- "joined entity"?
What does "heavens" mean? The sky? The stars?
Were the stars once on (joined to) the earth?
Why don't you describe, in your own words, what that passage means.
It happens a lot when talking with religious fundamentalists.Believe me, I can't help you, better you watch this and enjoy, have some snacks.
It happens a lot when talking with religious fundamentalists.
They will cut and paste something "profound" from their holy scripture.
I will ask them to tell me, in their own words, what it means.
They are unable to answer so they say things like:
- Do your own research
- You figure it out
- I can't help you
This is often accompanied with a nervously pasted smiley face or something equally silly.
In doing this, these people demonstrate how deeply indoctrinated they really are. They can spout chapter and verse. But when asked what it means, they have to evade, because they really don't understand it themselves. They are just good little robots.

Aha, I know , I know you' were disturbed and disappointed by that video for the kids, but hope you may love this one.
I didn't bother to watch either of your videos.
I asked you...
(Quran 21:30)
1 -What does that even mean- "joined entity"?
2-What does "heavens" mean? The sky? The stars?
3-Were the stars once on (joined to) the earth?
4-Why don't you describe, in your own words, what that passage means.
I guess you cannot describe, in your own words, what that passage means. That is very typical of religious apologists. Nothing new here folks.
“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30)
What does that even mean- "joined entity"?

1- Joined entity means connected as one body
2- Heaven means heaven, the space of the universe .
3- the whole universe that we know were connected in one body, when God speaks about
the whole universe then he says the creator of earth and heaven, so if you are old enough
then you can understand what heaven means,
Finally.
So, Your god separated heaven from earth, created water and, from the water made every living thing. OK.
How is that different from:
The Creation of the WorldThe OT was around long before Muhammad. Do ya think maybe he cut and pasted?
Genesis
1 In the abeginning, God created the heavens and the earth. bwithout form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
They (Muslims) would argue that Muhammad was illiterate, so he couldn’t possibly be read the bible, but are forgetting that there is more than one way to learn the bible, like from preachers teaching the masses about the gospels or any other stories.Finally.
So, Your god separated heaven from earth, created water and, from the water made every living thing. OK.

WHAT ?
And you don't understand English.
The word "like" are not "is" or "was"....
... It’s a shame atheists lack the ability to reason “usage of terms” from ancient sources! smoke is accurately describing...
Since you asked I'll be glad to repeat it.

Can’t believe you wrote that drivel when I had already written this:
It’s a shame atheists lack the ability to reason “usage of terms” from ancient sources!
Maybe you should have gone to specsavers
I don’t give a crap about what the Qur’an say.
The problem is that FearGod repeatedly use “smoke” here and now, which is scientifically incorrect, because the majorities of molecular clouds and nebulae are mostly made out of hydrogen, not smoke.
Smoke cannot make thing, because it is byproduct gas; elemental hydrogen can, because hydrogen is the building blocks of all heavier elements, the original source.
FearGod refused to understand this, just the level of ignorance.
Lastly, you are turning to this into Muslims vs atheists issue.
And you (and FearGod) are trying to turn the Quran into science textbook.
Islam isn’t science. The Quran is science. Theism is science. Creationism isn’t science. And atheism isn’t science!
And, BTW, I am agnostic, not atheist.
PS Agnosticism is also “not science”.
I don’t give a crap about...
You are the one labelled me "atheist". You are the one who is trying to turn science into games between Muslims and atheists, when neither sides have anything to do with science. Then there’s no point talking!
Have a nice day

This is how I would answer your _____ question...It says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, tel me where it says both were connected
as one body and where it says God separated them apart.
Which word in Genesis means connected as one body and which word says separated asunder
.
How to answer stupid questions?
Q 21:30 uses the term separated. "Separated heavens and the earth". You try to interpret this to mean that Q 21:30 refers to the BB.The bb theory was mentioned in one other verse that mentioned that the universe was one united piece before
being separated apart.
“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30)
This is how I would answer your _____ question...
First everything was light, then god separated it into light and dark.
Light is energy. The universe started with energy. The universe did not start with "heavens" and "earth" conjoined.
The OT comes much closer to describing the BB than does the Q.
But let's go back to your original post...
Q 21:30 uses the term separated. "Separated heavens and the earth". You try to interpret this to mean that Q 21:30 refers to the BB.
- Fifty thousand years ago man knew that the stars were "separated" from the earth.
- The stars were never joined to the earth.
- The BB is not about separation, it is about expansion.
No I don't disagree .
I said word Arabic "gas" غاز was not exist in that time. God used smoke دخان

So you agree that it wasn't copy paste as you claimed in your previous post,
not only stupid questions but even your answers as well.
