Hello I am a member, of this Forum but a more senior of the very loose knit Tolkien spiritual community. I was seeking for a long time it seemed until my path "hit me" one day, I have never been the same since. It prompted me to find ways to make a path for myself with Tolkien's work as my Holy Texts. I have created a couple of websites of my own for the online society who I believe could use more "order" to it. Those I have contacted want me only to join theirs and the will not join mine because they say " I am to busy at the time, but I appreciate the offer."..... all well. I am working on multiple projects right now to help unify us enough for our own good.

There is Tie Eldalieva, The Elven path but for me that is to narrow, I believe one can sway the fate of any reincarnation or incarnation through the use of will. This is more explained at our website listed below.

Wow! My listed religion for a while was Iluvatarism, but it was a joke. You and I will probably have a lot of Tolkien to talk about ;)

Are your religious texts based more on The Silmarilion than the Hobbit and the Rings Trilogy? I read all the books in the 70s (and read them off and on through the years) but only made it partially through the Silmarilion. It does read kind of like the bible.

I'm going to have to agree with Madhuri.

The story is epic but the writing style is atrocious. LOTR was one of those few cases where I'd rather watch the movie than read the book, and that's unfortunate seeing as there are characters that never see the light of day in the movies (Tom Bombadil, anyone?)

The Silmarillion is a collection of backstories. One of the reasons it's nearly impossible to make it into a movie. Maybe a mini-series of individual vignettes, but not a movie.
