Hi to all , and there will always be controversy concerning this passage and this is the way that I see it .

#1 , the context is Jewish and it is Prophecy spoken in Joel 2 and verse 22 , Peter is addressing the Nation of Israel .

#2 , Then in verse 36 , Peter letting the House of Israel know , assuredly , that God hath

made that same Jesus , whom ye have crucified , both Lord and Messiah .

#3 , The Jews were pricked in their hearts and said to Peter and to the rest of the apostles , Men and brethren , WHAT SHALL WE DO ??

#4 , What they mean by that` phrase " what shall we do " , we killed Him and " what can we do about that , for He is dead ."

#5 , But Peter has the answer ; Then Peter said unto them , Repent , and be Baptized /Cleansed everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the Forgiveness of the Murder of Jesus and be forgiven , and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit .

#6 , This means that this Baptism/Cleansing is for the sin of killing of Jesus and this Baptism was given to the Jews that killed Jesus ONLY , AT THAT POINT IN TIME .

#7 , This baptism can NEVER happen ever again .
