The Vortex beckons, how many contradictions and errors are in the Qur'an

Response: What's even more interesting is to watch someone like yourself spend so much time criticizing the qur'an, yet never wishes to shed light on their own beliefs. I know the reason why. It's very easy to to always pick fun of other religions. But it's not so fun when the tables are turned is it? But I do understand. If I myself believed what you believed, I wouldn't want to share it as well. After all, it's hard to defend irrationality.

well brother Fatihah, what do you expect from people who dream with their eyes open? they should atleast close their eyes so we may consider them.

Now, that you understand "where the devil comes from" this can be resolved.

Are they talking about a child? How can you say? Do you realize when the Devil leads people astray, it is out of the mistakes of those who disbelieve, the Devil cannot force you to do anything. So again, where have you seen a human at such a young age consciously separate themself from Islam? Answer, it doesn't happen. When a child turns away from Islam it is due to impressionable individuals that influence him. A child cannot argue whether religion is right or wrong. Thus in this hypothetical the child would clearly be influenced by his parents. However, if that same child was not impressed religion, but two decades later chose, for example, Christianity then the Devil clearly had a hand in his thought process.

you feel this because you think devils are not parents, and it is false angle to view.

devils reffers to parents since devils are plural, then what im saying is exactly correct. so it proves they are talking about child in both the statements, what you say?

astray -

adv.
Away from the correct path or direction. See synonyms at amiss.
Away from the right or good, as in thought or behavior; straying to or into wrong or evil ways.

Devil is singular, not plural. Muslims only believe that there is one Shaitan. As I have said numerous times those who changed faith were influenced by the Devil, such as the Non-believing parents. They are not devils themselves. So yes, one could argue it is the Devil who directly or indirectly leads people astray. Like I said.

The Prophet (PBUH) reported that Allah said, "I created my servants in the right religion but devils made them go astray"
yours is just statement, even your scripture tells it is devils and not devil, so it is plural, thus devils are referred to parents. or explain why plural is used.

there is more than one devil, they are like us but unseen to our eyes, in their natural form.

they populate like humans.

friend abibi, your brothers statement is contradicting you, like said before you both should come to peace first,

in your scripture it is plural, so it is referred to parents, so abibi, you are false.

not everyone knows everything. why are you so judgemental if there is a missunderstanding with me and my brother?

i'm not claiming to know everything about islam, nor is Abibi. so whats the problem?

the devils are many, like i already told you. it does not refer to parents. why are you interpreting the verses to say something that isn't there?

and there is no contradiction between us. what Abibi has said is true. there is only one Devil who controls the rest, he is responsible for people going astray and having imaginary gods after a while. have you ever heard the word Shaytan or Iblis?

see like this, if devils are reffered to parents, then what im saying is exactly correct. so it proves they are talking about child in both the statements, what you say?

Show me a verse that states that the parents are devils. The Hadith says the Devil made original believers doubt the word of Allah. The parents are not devils themselves, they are those who have believed in the word of the Devil. They pass this incorrect belief on their children. However, your argument that a person can only be a non-believer by being influenced by his parents is false. A person with the ability to think rationally can succumb to the evils of the Devil at any time, regardless of his parent's upbringing. So no, your statement is still wrong. I do not understand what you are trying to accomplish by posting the definition of astray.

friend abibi, your brothers statement is contradicting you, like said before you both should come to peace first,

Yes, I was in the wrong confusing the one Iblis with the other devils of the world. My sentence needed clarification, for it would have been confusing to new comers. Thank you for the clarification. However, as I have shown before and you have been unable to refute, our prior statements were in agreement.

so advice your brother not to lead us to wrong, it is causing a lot of time waste and energy and also i wont consider any of the posts by abibi as he is ignorant in islamic scripture, note that we are discussing here about quran, and we are expecting replies from only those who have basic knowledge in quran.

I don't claim to have memorized the Qur'an and I am human so it is natural that I will mistakes. Though these mistakes are not hindering my discussion and do not occur in any great frequency (notice this is the first time) So basically, you're running away from sound argument? Oh ok, when you put it like that. If you cannot understand the context of a newborn babe within the Hadith, then there is nothing more to be done. You will erroneously apply Hadiths and Surahs and make illogical assumptions concerning them. Notice, no one else is arguing your point.

you already wasted a lot time and effort of ours by making false statements to justify quran, i have to say that you consciously cheated us all by posting wrong informations which are not said in quran, so your arguments should not be taken to consideration.

It is now become clear that how you people managed to escape from contradictions and faults in quran, seen you people celebrating a little while back, you should feel shame for that.

go drink a poweraid or gatorade. it will give you plenty of energy.

it's not his fault that you ask a question but lack the ability to comprehend.

note that we are discussing here about quran, and we are expecting replies from only those who have basic knowledge in quran.

very well, but i too am not expecting questions from people who missinterpret the verses to say what they think should say and have no knowledge about islam. i guess you fall into that category.

can consider after finishing our current topic discussion.

well then i guess the fact that you were wrong about Allah stands. i have proven he is just, fair, forgiving, merciful and much much more. i have no problem if we even leave it at what it is.

you are the one who is justifying quran, so it is your duty to prove devils are not referred to parents, till then it remains devils are referred to parents.

please learn your scripture well and point out rest of the mistakes you made in this thread.

and you need to prove that the quran is reffering to parents when it says devils. i say it referrs to devils not parents. now you either deal with it or prove me wrong.

please learn your scripture well and point out rest of the mistakes you made in this thread.

why don't you point out his mistakes, you sure know how to define a mistake.
