It's funny the sort of arguments some people think are persuasive. These are some I've read recently. Are there any worse than these? I don't think so.

I'm right. You're wrong.
If you don't agree, take a class.
The entire world disagrees with you.
You're challenging the foundations of a popular institution.
I'll be out of town, so, my silence is not a concession.

Well, I always test how you are right and if I can be wrong anyway and get away with that.
To me the truth is not yet false, but that is just one method among many.
