Theists Could Not Answer This Question!

What is the color and cut of your deity's knickers?

If you say something like, "Black, lacy French-cut", then how do you know? Have you ever been there?

If you say something like, "My deity doesn't wear knickers", then how do you know? Are you professing to know all there is to know about your deity? Have you ever been there?

Truth is based on observation. If you haven't observed it, you can't be sure it's true -- you can only take it on blind faith your deity doesn't wear knickers, or that your deity's knickers are black, lacy, French-cuts.

So, theists, what is the color and cut of your deity's knickers?

Not as crazy a question as it sounds. This does highlight the audacity of most religious people assuming far more knowledge then is out there. Obviously Godly Green. That said Isis would pwn Yhwh. (I think she wore clear)

While I see what you're getting at, I think that questioning the color and cut of a deity's knickers is functioning from an improper premise.

Rather, I propose that we should be questioning is the cut of his jib.

You are asking theists to answer when you have already found that they could not answer it. what is the point??
Personally [agnost] am comfortable in shorts while at home and no knickers; what others do or what deities wear depends on who dresses them.

This was a seriously debated subject amongst lamas some centuries back. True. I can't remember which century though.

I was told this by a lama, who found it very amusing. When the Tibetan buddhist iconography was being developed, it had to be decided how to represent the deity and his consort in the yab yum position. The debates went on for years. You must remember that 40% of Tibet's oat crop was used to make chang (beer) for the monasteries. :D

Lots of examples here ... https://www.google.com.au/search?q=yab+yum&rlz=1C1CHWA_enAU565AU565&es_sm=93&tbm=isch&imgil=y8PibfM2Lm319M%253A%253Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fencrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com%252Fimages%253Fq%253Dtbn%253AANd9GcTiycNIqOXNB_4I5edaWpan56O0yQJU0D-OCgB2pGd9TNtwy7sAXw%253B357%253B478%253BTAc49rt8p_lpdM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.dorjeshugden.com%25252Fforum%25252Findex.php%25253Ftopic%2525253D2568.0&source=iu&usg=__iHgMmnc54taLmxQjgJopvSU46tM%3D&sa=X&ei=Vk5fU_64BOvb8gG0hYHgDQ&ved=0CC0Q9QEwAA#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=y8PibfM2Lm319M%253A%3BTAc49rt8p_lpdM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fvitalcoaching.com%252Fimages%252Fyabyum9.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.dorjeshugden.com%252Fforum%252Findex.php%253Ftopic%253D2568.0%3B357%3B478
