Would you welcome people of other faiths to your place of worship? Why or why not?

I know I would. I believe that most faiths have more similarities than differences.

Yes, and we've done so already. As long as they don't act disrespectful they are welcome.

All are welcome at my church. But the communion table is closed except to those who have been baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (which would include those from outside my particular denomination).

I was once invited to visit a small Southern Baptist church by a friend. The preacher, upon seeing me in the hallway, asked if I would remove my earring and tie back my hair before entering the sanctuary, he claimed my appearance was "offensive to God".
Needless to say, I left.
While he judged me on my appearance, he was unaware that at that time, I was a deacon at another church (also Southern Baptist), and youth director.

Violet.
Wer (and other variations)
to come to be, having merit,
turn, wind, bend, spindle, distaff, stirrer,
to become, to turn into....

Ship (and other etymological variations)
state, condition of being,
to create, ordain, appoint,
to create form,
creation, form, destiny.

I Worship
(WerShape) all day long.
Some of my Worship might be openly shared with everyone/anyone.
Some a select group.
Some a select few individuals.;)
and some... is for me alone.

~When my place of worship is deep and internal...
Who--how many-- can enter there?
~When my place of WerShape is my bed?
Should I let just anyone in to watch? participate?
~When my "place" of Worship is in the confidence of friends or coven?
Should I break Said confidence? And Open that to others? no.

Other parts of my life? Sure. Some yes. Some no.

Most anyone I like is free to see my alter/altar.
There are fewer with whom I would share it's Occultic (ie "Openly Hidden")meanings.
Most wouldn't care/understand anyway.
So why bothter?

If the "shape" I had taken/become for so many years prior
had not had such a terribly unbecoming affect on me,
I would definately share MORE of the shape I am BEcoming NOW,
with more people. :flirt:

The truth is, I am embarrassed by the lesser mess my previous years of "worship" made of me.:(

I hate to say this about a pastor, but he sounds pretty rude to say that to you. I don't think long hair and earrings on a man are in the slightest offensive to God, too.

Anyone is welcome in the Church I attend. Anyone is also welcome to participate in the communion, we have a reading before communion so it is up to us following the reading whether we participate or not.

We Baha'is always have and always will!

Indeed, Baha'i temples are intended as our gifts to the rest of the world, which is why no solely Baha'i activities are conducted in them.

Best, :)

I have heard nothing but good things from the folks who are Baha'i here. If I wasn't a Christian- I would be a Jew- but if I could not be either one, I would probably follow Baha'i.

I would tell you all something about prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Once some Christians came to meet Holy Prophet in Medina. They talked to him for some time and when it was time for Christians to pray, they asked to take their leave and go pray in their church. The Holy Prophet upon hearing them invited them to the mosque and asked them to offer their prayer in the mosque.

So this kind of tolerance has always been a part of Islam.

Every LDS church has a sign in front that has the full name of the church and says "Visitors Welcome" underneath. I think that makes things pretty clear. :)

Sure I would. While Judaism isn't for everyone, learning is a beautiful thing. Learning, praying, or just respectfully observing... Come on in!
