The oligarchs that control the U.S. government, the media, and commerce, make billions of dollars from these arms sales. And the Saudis have a lot of money to spend. We are nation ruled by the greed of the wealthy, and that includes our presidents. All of them.

Yep. All the American moralizing about the virtues of democracy suddenly goes silent, if a country has oil or enough money to invest in US arms sales.

I'd like to see us putting a trade embargo on Saudi Arabia until their human rights progress to at least an 18th century equivalent, but that's just me.
