Theres some hope for the People's Republic of California. Another one sick and tired of the Democrat party.

Still no Democrat commentary? Nice.

On the right track.

Not a democrat, but I mean, she is choosing her political affiliation based on the ability to toast a tortilla on an open flame (based on the article).

She could have cited democrat corruption, bad PR, or any number of policy failures, but she chose the banning of gas stoves. So: one's ability to toast a tortilla over an open flame is more important than working to solve a global environmental problem and home health risk is, as best that can be gleaned from the article, why one should ignore the republican corruption, civil rights problems, and its leadership being a narcissistic racist criminal.

Glad to see yet another Democrat has seen the light of the true nature of the People's Democrat Party.

Too bad it's not happening in the People's Republic of New York, but I'm hopeful.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.

"The former state senator explained she planned to vote for former President Donald Trump in the November election. Romero also noted she was not able to back several contemporary Democratic policies, such as those targeting emissions and climate change.

“I for example think we are going to solve nothing by banning gas stoves,” she said. “As a Latina, I will not give up my gas stove because you can not toast a tortilla on an electric range.”"

BTW,
The pan you use to toast or cook tortillas is often called a comal. A comal is a flat, smooth griddle typically made of cast iron or other metals. It's traditionally used in Mexican cooking for toasting tortillas, roasting spices, and cooking other foods.
If you don’t have a comal, you can use a regular skillet or non-stick pan. Just make sure it’s hot before placing the tortilla on it for the best results.

If she is a climate change denier and doesn't care about air pollution, I guess we could call her a Dino

Cooking tortillas on an open flame is a silly way to do it and if you insist, an electric burner would give you a more even toast anyhow since it is a whole area rather than just a ring of heat. Think about it. LOL

This is how a real American toasts a tortilla on an open flame.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
It sure does. Jalapeno Tree makes them like that, and so do lots of Mexican food places.

Here's another ray of hope for you.

‘I want you to kiss it’: Gary Condit’s son claims state senator made him ‘pleasure’ her in car, hurting his back in ‘confined space’

Nearly one month after a California state senator switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, her former campaign manager and chief of staff, who happens to be the son of Gary Condit, has filed a sexual harassment, discrimination, and unlawful retaliation lawsuit claiming that his back was injured while twisting and contorting in the “confined space” of a car after Marie Alvarado-Gil demanded oral sex during work-related travel together.

Yeah, you leave the dem party and you will regret it. We will see if this is true. Sounds outlandish.

Yeah, funny that how I don't see them using am open flame but a griddle when I get a taco from the Mexican grocery store, food truck or restaurant. I'm sure it's out there, but I honestly first heard of it from a white lady in Kentucky.
And if this is your reason for switching good riddance. There's less embarrassing ways to retire.
And, of course, now she's one of theirs the Reps overlook her bringing identity into it.

Which clearly uses a sort of skillet.
