Things To Do Before You Die

What's something you've always wanted to do, and won't feel your life is complete until you've acheived it?

These can be light-hearted or serious. I'll post just a couple things to start this off....

I want to:
Hike the Appalachian Trail
Visit Australia, Ireland, Germany and Tibet

Well... my life would still be complete without this, but if someday I'm in the CSO (Chicago Symphony Orchestra) I promise you I won't get mad! Traveling Europe would be cool too. And running a marathon without collapsing would be quite an accomplishment. I've also always wanted to learn how to sew.

first off, i'd like to have a son or daughter. i'd love to be able to share my life with a kid, and i've been thinking of adopting for a while.

i'd like to go into teaching English. i enjoy working with kids, love to read, and am fed up with conventional teaching in public schools around here. :banghead3

i'd like to take my car and drive around the country for a summer. road trip.

:biglaugh: Martha! I would give you frubals, but I think I already did, today. What the heck--I'll give it a try, anyway. If am unsuccessful, I will do it tomorrow.

I was not successful. I hate it when that happens! :banghead3

Following Christ
When I was a kid, I was a bit of a home-body with no interest in going places. As I've gotten older and....well, older:D, I want to travel and see the places I've read and heard about. I hate to admit I've never been west of Dallas, TX, so that means there are lots of places to start. :)

Meogi & Gracie, One of my greatest ambitions was to be not only a father - but THE BEST father ever. I washed the terry nappies, I got up in the middle of the night, I mopped up one night when Andrew sleep-walked into the airing cupboard and relieved himself, thinking he was in the bathroom.
The trouble with parenthood is that, by the time you've worked out where you are going wrong, they are ready to leave home!!
Now, I look forward to being a grandparent - at least I can have 'time off for good behaviour' and hand babies back to the hard workers when they begin to smell.........

But I would'nt change a minute of the past, even if I could!!!:jiggy:

Write a book and have it published.

And it'd be really, really nice to get a greencard to the US before I die...
