This is it gals. The zillion dollar question. Would you rather run into a man or a bear in the woods?

Not a woman but Id rather see a bear in nature then another human. That's why I'm in the woods in the woods.
I don't think I'd want to see a bear. I wouldn't know what to do.

I don't mind other people. Actually, it makes me glad to see them, though I don't talk with them. Its good to know the forest is important to others; renews my faith in people.

The sort of bear was not specified. In the US if one ran into a bear in the woods that odds would be huge that one would have run into a black bear. Where people live and bears live in any numbers those tend to be black bears. Unless you do something stupid with a black bear or it is absolutely starving to death, they are not a threat at all.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

I can see that but at a respectable distance they pretty cute. The only animal that charged me was a buck during rutting season fortunately my dog chased him off.

I don't have a dog so I'd probably rather see a man. I pity the fool anyway who tries to attack me. I will let loose on him or the bear so fiercely they won't know what hit them.

I like your fighting spirit but I would advise against fighting a bear.

I spend quite a lot of time on the forest, seen plenty of deer, and wild boar (i stay clear of them). The nearest bears are over 200 km away so no trouble there.
Most men are quite friendly with a "bonjour" or "ça va" before going on their way. However, if not i just hope they are partial to hospital food.

Oh my!

I suspect many of such people are from urban areas...
Don't blame them though.
Concrete jungles are scary!

Am I mistaken, or are groups of women on social media doing everything they can to try and make each other terrified of men?
