Co-owner Crystal O'Connor told a local news station that if a gay couple wanted to order pizzas for their wedding, "we would have to say no."

Clearly these yokels know nothing about gay people. Pizza at a gay wedding? How gauche. They think too highly of themselves.

It doesn't seem like they've officially denied anyone, yet at least.
However, the O'Connors said they would not deny service to any individual who walked in for a pizza. What they disagree with is gay marriage. Memories Pizza refuses to cater gay weddings or celebrations. Crystal's father Kevin O'Connor defended his position: "I choose to be heterosexual. They choose to be homosexual. Why should I be beat over the head to go along with something they choose?"

I was thinking the exact same thing.

BTW, watch what happens when business begins to slow down for these folks. Just like Chik-Fil-A, they'll change their public stance once they realize it will cost them.

People will still eat there. There are places that do worse, even kill people with food, and they still eat there.

From your lips to the gods' ears. The only thing that concerns me is if the people of that town or county are stupid enough to not boycott the businesses.

In Indiana I do not think it will make that big of a difference, especially in a small town. Indianapolis, maybe, as the city does have legal protections provided to sexual orientation and gender identity, and the mayor has told city employees to ignore the new bill, but a small town I don't see it being something that will hurt them.

Their joint looks pretty cold and uninviting as it could be. I'm not sure who'd want to eat in that atmosphere.

The owners should visit Colorado, get high on the legal weed here, and then rethink their anal retentive attitudes.

I have a great idea for driving them out of business... airdrop New York and New Jersey pizzas on the town. Once the idi... I mean townspeople have real pizza, that will be it for that business. Chapter 11. :D

Hmm... wait, airdropping might not be the best way... let's rethink this... oh yeah, truck them in. :)

Active discrimination, though, and with the nation watching.

I'd be willing to place a bet that within a year, they'll have a "change of heart."

You think so? It actually looks pretty common and typical for around here.

I think everyone should do that.

There is a bar in Kokomo whose Pizza is far superior to the Pizza anywhere else (there tenderloins are also really good and big enough to feed three or four people). It's actually one of the very few things I'm going to miss about being here.
