This was 2015 but...but... it just can't be true. Can it?

She's not evil. She's just another by the books Democrat politician. She seemed to have a mostly careful campaign, then she happened to call Trump voters a "basket of deplorables" which caused a huge backlash. At the presidential debates, Trump kept bringing up how she should be in jail due to her using a private email account for government business, and caused a rally of people to his side with his statements. Then it was announced that her emails were being investigated, which she didn't end up really getting in trouble for, but the announcement of the investigation and Trump airing political commercials about it.... it was just enough to beat Hilary.

She had a record of being pro-war, authoritarian, & incompetent.
(In order of significance there.)
One sign of authoritarianism was the (fortunately failed to launch)
single payer health care plan she pushed. It allowed no plan B,
ie, private market health care would've been illegal.
Not going to lie, sounds like you’re describing Trump to me. Was she worse in that regard?

Single payer health care? That’s like the model all modern western countries have bar the US, right?
I mean we still have private here, so we would technically be under universal and single payer. Or am I confuzzled again?

Politicians fascinate me. Many are just law people with their own positives and faults.

Though, political news and reading too much of it... well, it can be overwhelming.

Single payer shouldn't mean that the government
system is the only legal system allowed.

I try to avoid the news that's about personal drama,
backbiting, & proselytizing for or against one or the other.
This helps.

Nothing, eh? Ever hear about leaving the country? Its my next big move regardless the election outcome. Because, Dem or Rep, America is strugling in many areas. Like in numerous other countries my healthcare expenses won't be an issue. And that alone will make my life vastly easier.

You’re welcome in Australia.
Mind you, the madness is spreading here too, but nothing like the apocalyptic mind-warping lunacy of Trump, QAnon etc.

There has long been a theory that the ruling class of Ancient Rome went gaga from lead poisoning. I have no idea what is causing mass hysteria and psychosis in the US, but that is what I see.

It is one of the most disturbing and strange events in world history.
Something like the slowly boiled frog.
I notice that the world’s response to it began with nervous laughter, and is now becoming nausea as the implications start to become obvious.

The vote on the solar panels shows that the town just isn't ready for solar panels. Its a huge investment for the town. The people pitching solar panels don't know the town and have mistakenly assumed everybody is some kind of techie. They went about this stupidly.

Nationwide almost nobody (percentage-wise) in the population understands electrical wiring and the photoelectric effect. Physics is an optional subject in High School.

You can't drag people, kicking and screaming, into investments that they don't understand.

Trump had no political record though.
He did have a record though.

A long and ugly one.
Russian collaboration. Cheating people in bankruptcy court. Lying on camera. Banging porno stars whilst his wife was giving birth.

Somehow, you seem to believe that because Godzillary believed the Bush Administration lies she's the warhawk.

Oh well.

There's more to her than you believe.
I assume that you can access the NY Times.

How Hillary Clinton Became a Hawk
Throughout her career she has displayed instincts on foreign policy that are more aggressive than those of President Obama — and most Democrats.
