Three years and one day ago, I left Saudi Arabia for the last time since then, and as I have mentioned before, I haven't missed it even for a day since then despite having lived there basically from birth until I was nineteen.
I have learned so much since then and my last two years in Saudi Arabia; whenever I think of which period of my life taught me most about coping with difficulty, I think of those two years.
I'm grateful to have made my closest friends in the last three years, and--mainly because of experiencing and knowing about life from two completely different perspectives in KSA first-hand--I maintain and try my best to emphasize that the negative impressions many people and media outlets have about the country are not only justified far more often than not but are also underestimations compared to the dim reality of Saudi culture and laws.
And, of course, thank you, RF and RF community, for being there throughout the ride, before and after I left KSA. You have been more helpful and valuable to me than I can fully describe.
