Mathematics is like language, they both paint mental pictures. Often people mistake the picture of reality for reality itself. I am still waiting for someone to prove that time exists as a stand alone entity, and not just the awareness of existence continuing to exist. Of course it is handy to have clocks to act as a proxy to 'time' aspects of existence to help mankind bring order to life's activities, but this 'time' is merely an abstract representation of finite segments of continuing existence.

We all travel in time: at the rate of 1 minute every 60 seconds.

Using relativistic effects (and a LOT of energy), it is possible to 'travel into the future' and not age as much as those where you started out.

There is no known way to age *faster* then your original start point.

There is no known way to go into the past light cone (which would form a closed, timelike loop).

It isn't simply a matter of technology. We haven't seen *anything* undergo a closed timelike loop. Not a proton, not an electron, nothing.
