That was informative. Now I can pronounce it correctly in my head when I see any post of yours. :p :D

(I'm out of frubals, by the way. Pardon me.)

No need for frubals!
Haha, I figure only Indians and Hindus would be even close to knowing the pronunciation.

I know I thought it was good. Maybe not enough people who can relate to Indian culture.

Have you read Robin Reardon's "A Secret Edge"? There is a gay Indian character in there, and I would like to get an Indian's interpretation on how the writer did on his character.

Can't brain. Has dumb.
Ok, so the in-my-head pronunciation was fairly close. I just put the stress on the 2nd syllable, rather than the first. I pat myself on the back at least for getting the vowels correct :D

I'll read it. I'll read anything.

She has written four books, all of which contain the gay character theme, and she is about to release her fifth book. I promise you will love her as a writer. I am not a fan of gay novels, but she is truly an inspiration for any gay person (or straight person who advocates for gay rights).

I'm a mostly straight person who advocates for equal rights for everyone, but I'm also a person who will at least try to read any book anybody I respect recommends, regardless of the subject matter. :)

Damn. I liked my pronunciation better
Can I live in ignorance about this one? :D

I naturally pronounced it 'Mad-hoo-ree' even though I should know better than pronouncing the H. It just sounded sexier in my mind.

Haha. Well, I've always pronounced it mad-hurry. Is it mad-door-ee, with a slight trill on the r? I was like the guy... having trouble remembering the difference between what he was saying and what she was saying.
